Inspired by the inconvenience of carrying bulky ball launchers to dog parks, I designed the Fetch & Fold to prioritize portability and user comfort. Its foldable structure allows compact storage and effortless transport, while the extended throwing distance enriches fetch play, strengthening dog-owner bonds. The CMF and sleek form align with Chuckit’s bold, playful aesthetic, using vibrant colors and durable materials to reinforce brand identity.

To solve the issue of a bulky 25” ball launcher, I created innovative folding designs to improve portability, beginning with concept sketches to explore size-reduction ideas, then advancing to 3D prototyping to develop a sleek, user-friendly form.

During concept testing, I iterated multiple prototypes, from hand-crafted kit-bashed models to tooled prototypes, collaborating with the marketing and engineering teams to develop durability and safety testing protocols, ensuring a robust, user-safe design.
